Three Ways

In collaboration with The Fresh Fruit Festival, Block & Tackle Productions presented three plays by Michael Bettencourt that explored the love of men for men: The Body Electric (Walt Whitman as a male nurse in the Civil War); Sporting Goods (the pleasures of "sports-approved flesh"); and Click (the moral conflict between two companions when one murders a homophobe).

Performances were Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 5:30 PM and Friday, October 28, 2011, at 7:15 PM, with a special added performance of Click (without the other two plays) on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at 1 PM at The Workshop Theatre (312 West 36th Street).

The Three Ways crew included John Blaylock, Edmund Wilkinson, and Cory Shoemake (Click, directed by Elfin Frederick Vogel) and Giancarlo Osaben and James Parenti (The Body Electric and Sporting Goods, directed by Kelley McKinnon), Jenny Waletzky (stage manager), Josh Millican (sound), and Carla Linton (lighting).
