Block & Tackle presented a reading of Chicago playwright Robert Koon's Homecoming 1972, about the return of a Viet Nam vet to his small hometown where the high school's homecoming football game is the premiere event in town and the "good brother" is a state police officer.

Elfin Vogel directed, and the cast included Jon Krupp, Wendy Allegaert, Cory Shoemake, Laurie Geigel, and James Parenti. The reading was held on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Studios 353 (353 West 48th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues), with a reception at 7 PM, and the reading at 7:30 PM.
